Why is Aldermore Offering a  Lower Rate of Interest on Cash ISAs? – I was pretty annoyed that Aldermore were offering a higher rate of interest on their three years standard fixed rate bond than on their three-year fixed rate Cash ISA. I’d like to see financial institutions forced to offer the same rates on standard and Cash ISA accounts.

Possible Clampdown on Tax Free Lump Sums and ISAs – Then I was really annoyed when I read that the UK Government is looking at withdrawing the tax-free status of the 25% pension lump sum and putting a cap of ISA savings. I’ve been saving into a Cash ISA for years, as well as into a stakeholder pension, to fund my retirement. How can you plan retirement when the rules keep changing?

Review of Skoda Fabia SE 1.6TDI 75bhp – We recently replaced our 2004 Fabia 1.4TDI. The new car has a few niggles, some to do with money saving ploys by Skoda e.g. not including a spare wheel as standard and removing the plastic drainage strips on the roof.

The Price of Laptop Keys – I was surprised that it cost almost as much to replace a few dodgy keys on my Samsung laptop as to buy a new Logitech keyboard.
