Sick of False Bottoms?

I’m getting sick of false bottoms on packaging. Look at the difference in size between the packaging and the container of Cocoa Skin Therapy Oil.

Now there are plenty of examples of this misleading practice making shoppers think that they are getting more than they are for their cash.

I suppose that manufacturers would argue that if their competitors do it, they need to do it too, or they might lose out on sales by customers wrongly assuming that the larger package from a competitor held more product.

Between the practice of shrinking weights at supermarkets, when what was a standard weight/volume of a product is reduced, and false bottoms, making products look bigger, you really need to check the weight/volume when buying anything.
