The student finance guide has been written by students and graduates who understand the financial challenges of studying.  New students can learn from their experiences and avoid being skint students.

As financial education isn’t compulsory in the UK, it’s very easy for new students, especially those living away from home for the first time, to quickly end up in a money pickle.

We were fortunate that our twin sons were resident in Scotland, so were able to study without paying any fees. It must be a nightmare for English students (and their parents) facing annual fees of up to £9000 over a three year course.
