Why I Use the HotelsCombined Price Comparison Site

Written by Karen Bryan

I’m a fan of the HotelsCombined price comparison site and it’s one of my top travel money saving tips. It’s a metasearch engine, which means it simultaneously searches through the databases of many different travel sites, to find the find lowest prices, saving you having to search on each travel site individually.

I’ve found some great deals using the HotelsCombined site and here are some examples from this year. The three star Days Hotel Manchester City for £45 a night for a double room for two guests including full breakfast and free wired in-room internet access. The four star Barons Hotel in Tallinn, Estonia for £67 a night (also using a Thomas Cook £3o voucher) on half board with free in-room wifi.

However, I always recommend that you check out the hotel’s own website, as sometimes they offer a lower price for direct bookings, especially during sales and promotions.

This post is based on my own personal usage of the HotelsCombined price comparison site. Always check through all the terms and conditions before making a hotel booking. I will make a commission if you click through on the link in this article and then through to one of the compared suppliers.
